Louisville, KY is known for its vast array of shops, boutiques, galleries and overall love for art. It comes as no surprise that one particular community in the arts district has dedicated the last Friday of every month to showcasing the local talent. Painters, sculptors, antiques dealers and more have the opportunity for their art to be seen by the masses at the F.A.T. (Frankfort Avenue Trolley) Friday Trolley Hop. Held in Crescent Hill, just between the Highlands and St. Matthews neighborhoods, shoppers can come and discover Louisville’s most fabulous shopping, dining and entertainment in the Historic Frankfort Avenue corridor.
During F.A.T. many of the public parking areas are cleared and are offered FREE to Trolley Hop customers. Board the Frankfort Avenue Trolley between 6:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. and get whisked away on an adventure exploring this unique district of shops, boutiques, studios and galleries, featuring handcrafted furniture and gifts, regional art, fine antiques, apparel and much more! Frankfort Avenue is also home to some of the greatest places to eat in Louisville. So once you’ve completed your shopping experience, indulge yourself in one of their fine eating establishments to complete the night!
So, what are you waiting for? The February Trolley Hop is just around the corner. It’s this Friday, February 24th. Bring the family and prepare for a great night of food, family, friends and quality Louisville art!
